Much was being speculated by filmi pundits as to who would be cast opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’. Earlier, it was being said that Abhishek Bachchan was being considered for the role. However, the role finally falls in the laps of the promising new comer Arunoday Singh who has already done films like Yeh Saali Zindagi, Aisha and Sikandar. But being cast opposite Ash in Bhandarkar’s film is something which any new comer would give a hand for.
Arunoday has been a great fan of Madhur’s prior films ‘Chandni Bar’ and ‘Page3’. An elated Arunoday said, “Yes I am doing the film and I am over the moon. I can’t speak anything about the character but it feels great to be acting opposite Aishwarya Rai. Madhur is a wonderful director and I don’t need to say that.”
