The model-turned-actor was on the news recently with Bigg Boss. He and his actress-turned-jewellery designer bride had broken off briefly but got back together recently.
This is a second marriage for both Samir and Neelam. Neelam was earlier married to London-based industrialist Rishi Sethia while Samir was married to model Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar (who is now married to actor Rahul Roy).
The couple got married in an extremely private affair attended by close family and friends, but later stepped outside and posed happily for the media.
Samir who was last seen in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss and Neelam, an actress of the 90's, had been dating for the past three years after meeting at a private party of common friend Ekta Kapoor (of Balaji Telefilms). While Neelam quit mainstream acting, special appearance in Karan Johar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was one of her last few film assignments. Post her acting career, she turned into a jewellery designer and started out commercially with a brand under her own name 'Neelam Jewels'.
Celebs that were spotted were Jeetendra along with daughter Ekta and wife, Shobha, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Sophie Choudhary, Raveena Tandon, Farah Khan, Mandira Bedi, Farah Khan, Sonali and Goldie Behl, Sanjay Kapoor with wife, Maheep, Arbaaz, Sohail Khan among others. Good friends Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan were missing from the celebrations as they had prior commitments to be at fashion show for Shabana Azmi's Mijwan project, which coincided on the same evening.
