When it comes to beauty, elegance and style, there are few women who can compete with Bachchan Bahu and sure enough, the former Miss World drew attention and admiring glances at the 162nd edition of the Prix de Diane horse race in Chantilly, north of Paris, on Sunday. The actress is the brand ambassador of the Swiss watch company Longines and she is currently in France for its events along with her mother Vrinda.
Aishwarya opted for a pale pink ensemble with an elaborate hat. Since the start of the Prix de Diane in 1843, the hat has evolved as an essential dress code for the race which is now famous for its guests turning up with eccentric headgear.
Longines sponsored this race for the first time and chose Aishwarya to give away the winner’s trophy. The trophy was presented to German Dietrich Von Boetticher, and his son Alexandre, owners of Golden Lilac, the filly that won the race.
